An extensive variety of specialty lenses allows our eye doctor to prescribe appropriate contacts for even the most challenging ocular conditions. Depending upon your unique needs, we may recommend toric lenses for astigmatism, SynergEyes hybrid lenses or scleral lenses for keratoconus, or bifocals/multifocals as an efficient way to see clearly with presbyopia.

Other specialty contact lenses include cosmetic tinted lenses and theatrical cosmetic masking lenses. These contacts can give you a whole new and interesting look!

The major contact lens companies are constantly releasing newer variations of contact lenses to provide solutions for more patients. In the past few years there has been great improvements in contact lens technology for dry eye sufferers. Contacts designed to reduce dry eyes are usually made of more breathable materials and include specific designs that improve the natural wettable nature of the lens reducing a need for eye drops. Recently contacts that are designed to reduce eye fatigue from computer usage by incorporating mid-range viewing have also been released.
